eGrants - Error Message "The Email Address is Not Valid or in the Wrong Format" When Submitting Application or Report

Question:   When I try to certify and submit an application or report, I get the following error message: “The email address is not valid or in the wrong format”. What am I doing to create this error message if the email address format is correct? 

 Solution:  The error is not with the format but with the validation within eGrants.  Please submit a request through the TEA Help Desk webpage and select “Technical Issues” for the Issue/Concern section.
