What should I do if I submitted my certification application incorrectly??

For educators that have applied online for certification but made an incorrect choice, such as:

  • Incorrect application
  • Incorrect educator preparation program
  • Incorrect route for your program from the drop-down list

You will need to log in to your account and apply again, choosing the correct entity or route.

After reapplying online, do not pay the fee, but contact us by submitting your fee transfer request at the TEA Help Desk, so that we can attempt to transfer the payment to the new application.  We can only transfer the fee if the amount is the same for both applications.
