Currently, if you have previously been fingerprinted as a non-certified employee, or substitute teacher of a Texas School District or charter school through the Texas Education Agency (TEA), you are not required to be fingerprinted again for issuance of an educator certification. In some cases, your employing school district or charter school may require you to fingerprint again as a matter of local policy.

Please submit a Help Desk ticket if your fingerprint results have not applied to your application within 24-48 hours of application submission. If needed, a TEA fingerprinting specialist may follow-up to request additional information.
