What should I do if my fingerprints have been rejected twice?

If your fingerprints are rejected twice, you do not need to schedule another fingerprint appointment. TEA will submit a request for a name-based search to the FBI. Once TEA receives the results, your process will be displayed on your ‘Fingerprint Status’ screen in your ECOS account. The name-based search may take a minimum of four weeks for results to be received by TEA.

You can always reach us via the TEA Help Desk if you have additional questions or need assistance with any of the steps described.
