If you are needing to pass more than one subject area test, then it is recommended to sign up for the overall Core Subjects EC-6 (291) or Core Subjects 4-8 (211). You will need to retake only the subject areas that you are still needing to pass. You do not have to retake the subject areas that you have passed and will be able to click through the questions to progress to the next subject area exam. Each testing session counts as an attempt for a Core Subjects exam, whether the overall exam or an individual subject area exam is attempted, so candidates are advised not to take an individual subject area test unless you have only one left to pass.
